Support is at the core of Ten Links. It is the main focus of the Ten Links Method in helping members keep off for life the weight they have lost.

Support, especially but not exclusively, is what Ten Links members pledge to give one another for the rest of their lives. When personal challenges arise that influence and affect compliance, members look to one another for encouragement, to problem-solve and for understanding.

After losing 100 pounds or more, each member has unique needs not met or necessarily understood by people who have never struggled with obesity. Through the Ten Links method, members talk candidly about daily struggles, especially food-related struggles.  They also share the triumphs associated with maintaining a one hundred pound or more weight loss, such as the regaining of health, strength and confidence.

The word "Support" to a Ten Links member means being active, attentive and willing to share. We strive to provide emotional and moral support for one another while not casting judgment on another's choices.

Without the Ten Links method, weight loss, through whatever measure, is absolutely possible and achievable. With the Ten Links method, members have the confidence that weight loss MAINTENANCE can be for a lifetime.
